Our 6 Priorities

The Department of Women’s Ministries focuses on the six challenging issues which prevent women from reaching their full potential:
  1. Illiteracy
  2. Poverty
  3. Threats to health
  4. Length of workday and poor working conditions
  5. Abuse
  6. Lack of training, mentoring and leadership opportunities.

How can you get involved?

  1. Prayerfully find out what the needs of women in your church and community. This WM Needs Survey is a good place to start.
  2. Talk to your church, conference or union Women’s Ministry leader who can help you with resources to fill those needs.
